Hasan Banned from TikTok After Mass Reporting Trolls
Popular left-wing political commentator Hasan recently faced the consequences of dealing with trolls when they successfully mass reported one of his viral TikTok videos, resulting in a ban.
The video in question discussed the varying perspectives on ‘black lives matter’ and ‘all lives matter.’
The ban, however, was for unrelated videos on his channel, including one titled ‘I’m bald by choice’ with hashtags poking fun at Andrew Tate. The reason given for the ban was ‘hateful behavior.’
Hasan took to Twitter to express his frustration, highlighting the routine nature of mass reports and permanent bans that occur whenever his TikTok videos go viral. He demanded an explanation from TikTok Support regarding the simultaneous banning of his own account and his editor’s account. He expressed his exhaustion with constantly dealing with mass reports from individuals whose views differ from his own and mentioned that fan accounts are also being targeted.
While Hasan’s TikTok account remains banned, this situation seems to occur frequently and is typically overturned within a week.
In the meantime, Hasan will continue streaming on Twitch and uploading clips on YouTube. However, not being able to engage with his TikTok fan base is a significant setback for his viewership.
