The NoPixel GTA Roleplay Server Might Release a Second Server This Weekend
The NoPixel server, which is widely popular among streamers and the Twitch community, is planning to release a second server this weekend, according to an administrator from . This new server will have the capacity to host up to 32 players simultaneously, just like the existing server. HonathanTV, an administrator, stated that the server will go live when additional cops are available to enforce the rules and maintain law and order.
A New Server to Improve Gameplay Experience
By testing a new framework developed by FiveM that can support up to 64 player slots, the NoPixel team aims to enhance the gaming experience for players. Although the team acknowledges the potential issues and instability, it still believes that it is worth trying this new framework until they can migrate to RageMP, which can accommodate over 100 player slots. However, due to the server’s instability, the NoPixel team decided to stick with 32 players for now.
Reduced Queue Time for Players
When the second NoPixel server is launched, players and streamers can expect shorter queues when attempting to log into the game. Currently, players are placed in a queue and automatically logged in once a slot becomes available. However, prominent streamers using the server for broadcasting GTA RP are given priority over regular players.
The Growing Popularity of NoPixel
NoPixel’s popularity has surged alongside the rise in popularity of GTA RP on Twitch. The game ranked as the third most-watched game on the platform, with streamers like Sebastian “forsen” Hans Eli Fors, Jaryd “summit1G” Lazar, and Greek streaming almost exclusively on NoPixel. This immense popularity has caused the administration team to receive a backlog of 4,000 player applications, resulting in the server being closed to new applicants for the next two weeks.
Players who are already whitelisted on NoPixel might have the opportunity to join the new server when it goes live this weekend.
