Fuslie officially joins YouTube Gaming, ending months of speculation

Popular Streamer Fuslie Signs Exclusive Contract with YouTube Gaming

Fuslie, a popular livestreamer and content creator, has officially confirmed her move to YouTube Gaming by signing an exclusive streaming contract with the video hosting platform.

Last year, leaked information hinted at Fuslie leaving Twitch, and this move to YouTube Gaming quickly became known as an inevitability for many viewers. In a recent emotional video, Fuslie bid farewell to her Twitch chat, putting an end to livestreaming’s worst-kept secret and confirming that she has found a new home on YouTube Gaming.

In her announcement video, Fuslie followed the trend of previous YouTube announcements, using both platforms’ color schemes. She humorously depicted Facebook’s streaming service as a minuscule ukulele, while showcasing several guitars representing different livestreaming platforms. Ultimately, she landed on a pristine red guitar, symbolizing her choice of YouTube Gaming.

Fuslie’s YouTube debut featured other recently signed YouTube content creators like LilyPichu, Sykkuno, and other veteran creators, accompanied by an entire musical composition.

After her announcement, Fuslie received a warm welcome from fellow YouTubers who have also become exclusive to the platform. In response to Peter Park, she jokingly wrote, “kept this one a secret.” Though Fuslie’s move may not have surprised many, it still generated excitement from her fans, fellow creators, and those already on YouTube Gaming.

YouTube has been expanding its roster of active livestreamers, and Fuslie is the latest addition to this quickly growing division. Despite some creators having complaints about the platform, many believe that YouTube will continue to grow. As more Twitch-exclusive creators’ contracts expire in the coming months, we may see even more livestreamers making the switch to YouTube.

Fuslie’s first stream on YouTube.com/Fuslie is scheduled for tomorrow, September 7th.
