Free multiplayer Pac-Man game available on dedicated Twitch channel

Bandai Namco and Amazon Games Collaborate to Launch a Pac-Man Twitch Channel

Bandai Namco and Amazon Games have partnered to introduce a Pac-Man Twitch channel that offers more than just gameplay streams. Instead, fans will have the opportunity to engage in a co-op multiplayer game.

Pac-Man Live Studio: Celebrating 40 Years of Pac-Man

Today, the launch of Pac-Man Live Studio was announced by Bandai Namco and Amazon Games. This game allows players to compete online and create their own mazes, similar to Super Mario Maker. The best part? Pac-Man Live Studio doesn’t require any downloads and can be played for free directly on the Twitch channel.

Four Exciting Modes to Engage in Co-op High Scores

  • Studio Mode – Create and share your own mazes, aiming for recognition as a top creator.
  • Endless Mode – Play alongside up to four people with one life per level. If at least one person completes the maze, the entire team moves on to the next level.
  • Select Mode – Team up with friends to achieve the highest score on community-generated mazes and find mazes from your favorite streamers.
  • Classic Mode – Relive the original Pac-Man game that took the world by storm in 1980.

The Iconic Legacy of Pac-Man

Pac-Man, a Japanese video game franchise initially released in arcades in 1980 by Namco, has become a pop culture phenomenon. Although best known for its maze game, the franchise has also ventured into platformers, racing, and sports.

Over the past four decades, Pac-Man has seen numerous releases, with nearly 48 million copies sold across all platforms and over $14 billion in gross revenue. It’s only surpassed by the Mario franchise, Pokémon, and Call of Duty.

Pac-Man Live Studio will be playable on Twitch (PC) and is scheduled for release in June.
