Factionless Panda Doubleagent Achieves Level 60 in WoW: Shadowlands

World of Warcraft Player Levels to 60 as Neutral Pandaren in Shadowlands Expansion

Last night, the infamous World of Warcraft player known as Doubleagent revealed that he has reached level 60 in the Shadowlands expansion, despite choosing the Pandaren race without selecting a faction.

Doubleagent achieved this impressive feat in just over 17 days by utilizing mining and herbalism in the starting Pandaren zone. While most players are immersed in the war and faction conflict of WoW’s Shadowlands, Doubleagent prefers to reside on the turtle island and remain neutral.

Until the Mists of Pandaria expansion, leveling as a neutral character was not possible. It was with the release of the Pandaren race that players could finally embark on this unique challenge. After completing the initial quests, players traditionally pledged themselves to either the Alliance or Horde factions. However, Doubleagent decided to follow a different path.

His accomplishment sparked inspiration among other players, leading them to take on this challenge as well. Over time, Blizzard recognized Doubleagent’s dedication and even included an NPC of him in the Monk class hall during the Legion expansion. To find him, players can explore the island and discover him engaging in herbalism and mining.

Interestingly, players have recently discovered another method to level up without choosing a specialization, which they have dubbed “ironman” gameplay. Already, a handful of WoW players have successfully reached the maximum level in Shadowlands using this approach on different classes.
