Erobb explains reasons behind his Twitch ban lasting a month

Erobb Receives Twitch Ban for Threatening Viewer at TwitchCon

Last week, popular Twitch streamer Erobb was unexpectedly banned from the platform. Despite his involvement in various entertaining events like Shit Camp, the suspension was not related to those activities.

Erobb took to Twitter today to announce that his ban will last for 30 days and he will be able to stream again on Oct. 9. In a reply, he revealed the reason behind his discipline.

According to Erobb’s tweet, Twitch banned him for “threatening to beat up a viewer” at TwitchCon.

TwitchCon is an annual convention hosted by Twitch, with events taking place in both the United States and Europe. Due to the pandemic, the in-person portion of the convention was put on hold, but it is returning this year with the U.S. edition scheduled for Oct. 7-9.

It is unclear if Erobb’s channel ban will prevent him from attending TwitchCon. In his recent social media posts, he did not mention whether he would be attending the event or provide further details about his punishment. Twitch does not comment on individual streamer discipline publicly.

Throughout this year, Erobb has maintained an average of 4,048 viewers and has streamed for nearly 1,166 hours, accumulating a total of 4.7 million hours watched. He has notably collaborated with other streamers on various occasions, participating in events such as the Camp Knut bodybuilding boot camp and QT Cinderella’s Shit Camp.
