DrLupo teams up with Borat to promote his latest film

DrLupo Promotes Borat Subsequent Moviefilm in Bizarre Stream

Yesterday, DrLupo hosted a sponsored stream promoting Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. With the assistance of Borat himself, this stream was definitely one of the more unusual ones you’ll ever see.

Gaining over 50,000 viewers within the first hour of the stream, Lupo prepared to play games against Borat, who claims to be Kazakhstan’s top esports gamer.

However, things took a strange turn once Borat joined the stream. Instead of playing video games together, Borat challenged Lupo to a wrestling competition.

When Borat was asked about Twitch and using a computer mouse, he made inappropriate and sexually suggestive comments, clearly showing his lack of knowledge about streaming video games online.

Although there wasn’t much gaming involved, Lupo showcased a trailer for Baron Cohen’s upcoming film set to release on October 23rd. After experiencing a supposed “disconnection” with Borat, Lupo played a bit of Escape From Tarkov before ending the hour-long promotional stream.

Despite the eccentric nature of the stream, it was a success. Lupo’s channel reached its peak viewership of over 130,000, the highest it has been in the past year according to Twitch statistic website SullyGnome.

Throughout his Just Chatting session, Lupo maintained an average viewership of over 85,000. When Borat joined him, the viewers remained steady at over 100,000.
