Dream shares the untold tale of his TwitchCon hospital experience

YouTube Star Dream Sustains Unusual Injuries while Asleep at TwitchCon

Popular Minecraft YouTuber and Twitch streamer Dream suffered a series of peculiar injuries while supposedly asleep at TwitchCon San Diego 2022.

Dream, who has a staggering 30 million subscribers on YouTube, recently unveiled his face in what is considered one of the biggest face reveals in internet history. Shortly after this revelation, the Minecraft content creator made his first in-person appearance at TwitchCon San Diego 2022, where he had the opportunity to engage with his massive fan base.

While most of Dream’s trip to TwitchCon was deemed successful, the streamer shared some strange injuries he sustained during the event. Concerned fans were alarmed after Dream posted a series of graphic images on Snapchat.

The photos showed bruises on Dream’s shoulders and legs, as well as a noticeable wound above his eye. Despite the severity of the injuries, Dream appeared unfazed and wrote, “Bro I did like a backflip in my sleep or something.”

During a stream with fellow Minecraft creator GeorgeNotFound, Dream provided further details about the incident. He said, “Okay, it’s the longest story ever, AKA I was sleeping… blood all over my hands. I think I cracked my skull open. Then I realized that I fell off the bed, hit my head on the side table, and it knocked me out. I also scraped my knee and shoulder against the side.”

The streamer sought medical attention after waking up but quickly returned to TwitchCon on the same day. Dream’s in-person debut at TwitchCon has been historic, but not without its share of challenges.
