DrDisrespect reaches 1 million YouTube subscribers and playfully claims 1 billion

DrDisrespect Celebrates Reaching One Million YouTube Subscribers

Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm, one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, announced today that he had achieved the monumental milestone of one “billion” YouTube subscribers.

Of course, it’s not actually possible to reach the ten-digit mark, but DrDisrespect did indeed surpass one million YouTube subscribers. In his usual over-the-top style, he likes to exaggerate a bit to maintain his larger-than-life persona.

“We just hit 1 Billion subscribers on @YouTube,” DrDisrespect tweeted. “They also sent us the plaque already… it’s made of solid gold. Firm handshakes.”

In reality, the plaque that DrDisrespect will receive won’t be made of solid gold, but it’s still highly coveted. These one-million subscriber plaques have a beautiful golden sheen with a reflective YouTube logo in the middle, making them excellent rewards for reaching this milestone.

During his stream later in the day, DrDisrespect proudly showcased his achievement to his audience and had it validated by Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt, YouTube’s head of gaming.

Fwiz tweeted to DrDisrespect, congratulating him on being the first to reach one billion subscribers. He jokingly mentioned that the plaque was made from the tears of the children DrDisrespect defeated on the battlefield, twice.

However, DrDisrespect’s joy turned to anger when he discovered that Fwiz was friends with his rival, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. This association seemed to damage Fwiz’s standing with DrDisrespect, causing a brief outburst of rage during the celebration.
