Dr Disrespect expresses his discontent with Twitch amidst Trainwreck’s platform announcement

Trainwreck Criticizes Twitch, Backed by Dr Disrespect

Trainwreck and Dr Disrespect recently voiced their discontent with Twitch, expressing their support for a new streaming platform called Kick. Dr Disrespect, who was banned from Twitch in 2020, continues to criticize the platform. He recently settled his lawsuit with Twitch and took the opportunity to share his thoughts on his former platform.

Trainwreck, a partnered streamer on Twitch, released a statement on Kick.com where he heavily criticized Twitch. He believes that Twitch and its parent company Amazon are motivated by greed and not looking out for the best interests of content creators.

According to Train, Twitch is profiting greatly from creators who are being taken advantage of. While addressing his mistake, Train also took a jab at Twitch itself.

Dr Disrespect responded to Train’s statement, agreeing that Twitch is not profitable and is heavily reliant on a small number of creators and their communities.

Train acknowledged Dr Disrespect’s comment with a “100” emoji, indicating his agreement. Despite their criticism, they continued to discuss future plans together.

Kick.com, the new streaming platform, has raised suspicions due to its similarities to Twitch and its connections to the online casino Stake, which has content banned on Twitch for not meeting U.S. regulations.
