Dr Disrespect defends his game, Project Moon, against doubters

Dr Disrespect Responds to Critics of Midnight Society’s Project Moon

The famous video game champion, Dr Disrespect, is firing back at critics who believe that Midnight Society’s upcoming game, Project Moon, will fail. The negative comments finally got to him during a live stream.

Ever since it was announced that Project Moon would integrate NFTs, Dr Disrespect’s studio has faced relentless criticism. However, in July, the focus shifted to the game’s development process.

Forbes reporter Paul Tassi suggested that Midnight Society should seek input from professionals instead of relying solely on feedback from Founders Pass members. He questioned the effectiveness of this approach, asking if it was a viable solution.

The tweet ignited a Twitter trend discussing Project Moon and Dr Disrespect.

The gaming community’s backlash against Dr Disrespect and Project Moon seemed to bother him. Rather than ignoring it, he addressed the criticism during his YouTube stream on July 12.

Dr Disrespect admitted that he actually enjoys the controversy surrounding the game.

He also dismissed the most prominent claims made by critics, stating, “The expectation is that it’s the worst thing ever. But you’re always going to get those types of comments, man.”

Dr Disrespect listed several negative comments, including claims that the game will be ‘dead on arrival,’ criticisms suggesting he and his studio have no idea what they’re doing, and judgments on the game’s appearance.

After discussing the situation with his wife, Mrs. Assassin, Dr Disrespect admitted that the hate has been hard for them to process. He finds it difficult to understand why people would go out of their way to attack him and his “dream project.”

He expressed his frustration, saying, “I have a hard time fathoming why people would hate like that, especially when they don’t even know you. Just let us do what we need to do.”

Dr Disrespect then reflected on the numerous times he has faced criticism and doubt throughout his career. He remained resilient, stating, “I mean, shit, just let us do what we need to do. Let us roll with it, man.”

On July 29, Dr Disrespect and his team will make an important announcement about Project Moon. It’s an eagerly anticipated date, as teased on a Times Square billboard.
