Dr Disrepect’s Midnight Society to debut Project Moon gameplay next week

Dr Disrespect’s Project Moon Battle Royale Gameplay Reveal Coming Soon

Fans of popular YouTuber Dr Disrespect will soon have the opportunity to see the first gameplay footage of Midnight Society’s highly-anticipated video game, known as “Project Moon.” This exciting reveal has been eagerly awaited by the gaming community ever since the Two-Time first discussed his idea in 2021. Now, the moment has finally arrived for fans to witness Dr Disrespect’s passion project in action.

Playable Build Available at Los Angeles Event

Studio Head Robert Bowling from Midnight Society has announced that a playable build of Project Moon will be showcased at an in-person event in Los Angeles. This event is exclusively for fans who have purchased the Founders Pass, granting them access to development discussions, exclusive opportunities, and a controversial NFT. However, virtual access will also be available for Variant holders who are unable to attend the in-person event.

Bowling expressed his excitement for the upcoming reveal, stating, “This community has been nothing but inspiring. I can’t wait for this reveal,” in a tweet that was later retweeted by Dr Disrespect.

When Can Fans Expect the Project Moon Gameplay Reveal?

While the exact date and timeline for the Project Moon gameplay reveal have not been specified, Bowling’s tweet on July 24th mentioned the event taking place “one week” from the announcement. However, esports personality Jake Lucky has tweeted that the public gameplay session will occur on Friday, July 29th. This aligns with the date previously mentioned by Dr Disrespect in an earlier tweet. It remains unclear whether the gameplay reveal will be livestreamed or if non-Founders Pass holders will have to wait for a later opportunity to see Project Moon in action.

What Can Players Expect from Project Moon’s Gameplay?

While details about Project Moon are limited, Dr Disrespect previously shared his goal of creating a vertical battle royale back in 2021. It appears that this vision has come to life in Project Moon. This battle royale game starts at the bottom floor of an incredibly tall building, forcing players to ascend as the match progresses. Described as a “vertical extraction shooter,” Project Moon combines the intensity of a competitive PvPvE first-person shooter with arena-shooter level design and battle royale gameplay. Expect a high player count, intriguing parkour-like mechanics, and customizable hideouts. Although a release date has not yet been revealed, Dr Disrespect has plans to keep fans updated on the game’s progress.
