Disguised Toast stops accepting donations on his stream due to personal wealth

Disguised Toast Removes Donations, Encourages Viewers to Donate to Charity Instead

Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, a popular streamer and Youtuber, has made the decision to remove donations from his channel. In a recent tweet, he suggested that viewers donate their money to charity instead.

Disguised Toast, a Canadian streamer, explained in his tweet that he doesn’t need donations from his followers because he is already financially stable.

In his tweet, Disguised Toast admitted that he often feels bad when he forgets to acknowledge a donation because he becomes too absorbed in the game. He believes that donating to a charity or a smaller streamer would be a more worthwhile option, given that he is already financially well-off.

While many fans praised Disguised Toast for his decision, appreciating his choice to rely on ad revenue rather than donations from viewers who may not have much money, others disagreed. Some believe that Disguised Toast should accept viewers’ donations as a token of appreciation and then donate the money himself.

It is worth noting that Disguised Toast has previously made videos revealing the amount of money streamers make from ads, donations, subscriptions, and sponsorships.

Disguised Toast gained popularity by creating content for Blizzard’s Hearthstone and has since expanded to include other games such as League of Legends and Fortnite. He was even nominated for the 2019 Twitch Streamer of the Year award.
