Disguised Toast criticizes the direction of LivestreamFail Reddit: ‘It has lost its relevance’

Disguised Toast Shifts Focus Away from LivestreamFail

Famous Twitch streamer Disguised Toast has been less active on social media lately due to starting his own professional VALORANT team. This shift in focus has given him a new perspective on platforms like Reddit, particularly the LivestreamFail subreddit.

The Wisemen Podcast Opens Up About Changes

During an interview on The Wisemen podcast, hosted by 100 Thieves streamer Hiko and esports analyst Slasher, Disguised Toast discussed his decreased interest in LivestreamFail. The podcast features VALORANT coaches Sean Gares and Sliggy, as well as DSG player Steel.

A Fresh Outlook on Social Media

Disguised Toast explained, “I don’t check it as much these days, mainly because I’ve been focused on this VALORANT stuff. Now when I check, it’s like…Forsen, xQc, Hasan, and I can’t. It’s just reached a point where it’s not doing anything for me on an entertainment level. Even on a professional, in-the-know level, it has no relevance.”

The Reputation of LivestreamFail

LivestreamFail (LSF) is known for providing a glimpse into the streaming world. However, it has gained a reputation for presenting a biased perspective. Reddit users often see the same creators consistently topping the “hot” posts section, regardless of their activities.

“It just shows that Livestream Fails is not the end-all-be-all of streamers,” Disguised Toast commented. “But because existing streamers feed into it, it’s this giant, almost, echo chamber of content, of what’s popular, what will get upvoted, and what kind of drama is popular.”
