Dafran Receives 30-Day Twitch Ban

Twitch Streamer Dafran Banned for 30 Days Following Incident on Stream

Former Overwatch League pro and Twitch streamer Daniel “Dafran” Francesca has received a 30-day ban from Twitch. Dafran stated that the reason for his ban is because he frequently says “stupid shit” on his stream. It is believed that this ban is related to an incident that occurred a few days ago.

In a profanity-laced outburst while live-streaming on Twitch, Dafran criticized his team after losing a ranked match on Nepal. Although the clip of the incident has been deleted, Dafran ended up rage-quitting his stream after the game. “I hate my team,” Dafran expressed in the clip. “I hate you all.”

Dafran then directed his anger towards a support player on his team, escalating the situation further. “Fuck you, you piece of shit, fucking piece of shit, fucking Ana player,” Dafran exclaimed. “Uninstall the fucking game, you fucking piece of shit. Oh my fucking God.”

This is not the first time Dafran has faced consequences in the world of competitive Overwatch. He was previously banned for throwing matches on stream. However, he was later unbanned and joined the Overwatch League with the Atlanta Reign, although he retired from professional play before completing the season.

Dafran has stated that he will appeal his current ban and will keep his audience updated on the progress.
