‘Critics slam xQc’s ‘zero input’ reaction streams as a mockery’

YouTubers Call Out xQc for ‘Zero Input’ Reaction Streams

Several YouTubers have accused xQc of streaming reactions with little to no commentary. Bub Games first raised this issue after xQc reacted to a 90-minute video about the JFK Assassination without providing substantial input. In addition, xQc uploaded the VOD on his own channel, diverting viewership from the original source.

xQc’s Response and Another YouTuber’s Criticism

xQc initially addressed these accusations on his stream, claiming he added commentary but rushed through because of chat reactions. He explained that excessive commentary would bore his viewers. SomeOrdinaryGamers then joined in, pointing out that xQc re-uploaded his reaction content on YouTube, copying the metadata of the original source.

Neo’s Critique and Viewer Numbers

Neo, a YouTuber whose videos xQc reacts to, criticized him for leaving the room during a reaction and returning later. Neo argued that xQc’s viewers didn’t need to watch the original video since xQc showed the entire content (excluding sponsored parts) on stream. Neo supported this claim with a graph that showed no increase in viewership during or after xQc’s broadcasts.

The Fallout and xQc’s Fanbase

xQc’s choice to provide minimal commentary in his reaction content has sparked frustration among YouTubers. If he put in more effort and added commentary, their opinion might change. However, xQc believes his fans wouldn’t appreciate that. This is not the only recent criticism xQc has faced, as he was previously accused of being a ‘sellout’ for signing a deal with Kick.
