Corpse Husband Considered Launching a Country Track, and Post Malone Is Excited

Post Malone Encourages Corpse Husband to Explore Country Genre

Popular rapper Post Malone has been enjoying playing Apex Legends while streaming with well-known content creators. In a recent gaming session, Post Malone teamed up with Corpse Husband and Faide to play Apex Legends and offer Corpse Husband some music career advice.

Corpse Husband gained popularity for his deep, raspy voice and initially gained fame through horror-style YouTube videos. However, he later transitioned to playing games with prominent personalities like Pokimane, all while exploring a unique and edgy take on hip hop in his music.

During the charity stream, Post Malone expressed his belief that Corpse Husband should venture into different genres, specifically country. Post Malone revealed that he had been advising Corpse Husband to create a country song for some time.

In response, Corpse Husband humorously stated, “Yeah, they’ve been saying that – ‘Crops.’ That’s my country name.”

Country music is not unfamiliar to Post Malone, as the heavily tattooed rapper has previously performed covers of Dwight Yoakam’s songs. Considering his penchant for genre-blending, Post Malone believes Corpse Husband should also experiment with different styles to bring a fresh twist to his discography. Perhaps, they might even collaborate on a track together.

Corpse Husband is widely recognized for his single “HOT DEMON B!TCHES NEAR U!!!” The YouTube music video has amassed over 15 million views since its release in September 2021. Featuring Night Lovell, the song is a dark hip hop track with explicit lyrics about a provocative woman.

While the sexually charged rap song has gained a significant following, it has also faced criticism for its perceived simplicity and repetitive lyrics. However, Corpse Husband responded to the critics by dismissing them as “dumbasses” for expecting the song to have a deeper meaning.

Recently, Corpse Husband released a new song titled “life waster” with nearly 3 million views since its release in June 2022. This emotional single delves into Corpse Husband’s struggle with fame and his physical ailments, causing concerns among fans about his mental well-being.

While all of Corpse Husband’s songs incorporate elements of rap, they each possess a distinct vibe and style. It wouldn’t be surprising to hear a completely different sound from Corpse Husband in the future, whether it’s in the country genre or not.
