Controversy Ignites Over Valkyrae’s Latest Skincare Line

Valkyrae Launches New Skincare Line to Protect Gamers from Blue Light

Gaming influencer Valkyrae has recently announced the launch of her skincare line, RFLCT. After two years of development, this line aims to protect users from skin damage caused by exposure to blue light.

Products Designed for Gamers

RFLCT is now available for purchase online. The product range includes a facial cleanser, moisturizing shield, gel treatment, and more. Specifically targeting gamers, the products cater to anyone who spends time in front of a screen.

The Effectiveness of RFLCT

RFLCT incorporates a Blue Light Prevention Factor, a potent antioxidant that shields the skin from blue light damage and promotes collagen production.

Valkyrae received positive feedback from other streamers and creators, including Nadeshot, Sykkuno, Bella Poarch, and more. However, doubts have been raised regarding the product’s effectiveness.

Skepticism and Criticism

Critics have shared studies suggesting that blue light has minimal impact on eye strain and skin damage. Streamer Hasan has also openly criticized RFLCT, claiming the product exaggerates the issue.

According to Hasan, “I don’t believe that blue light is destroying your skin in the way that the RFLCT product presents itself. It’s just soap.”

Ongoing Debate

Valkyrae and RFLCT have not responded to the backlash. While other products exist to prevent blue light damage, especially related to eye strain, the impact of this issue remains a subject of controversy.

The skincare line is currently available online and will also be sold at Ulta starting October 24.
