Complexity Limit temporarily steps away from Mythic Raid World First race due to glitched boss encounter

Complexity Limit Faces Bug Setback in Castle Nathria RWF

Complexity Limit, a prominent guild in World of Warcraft’s Race to World First, encountered a bug during their attempts in the Castle Nathria raid. This bug on Sludgefist has forced them to take a break, allowing the guild Echo to catch up in the race.

Echo Closes the Gap

With six Mythic boss kills, Echo is now just one boss behind Limit. The stall in Limit’s progress has provided an opportunity for Echo, which is comprised of former Method raiders, to narrow the gap.

Frustrations for Limit’s Raid Leader

Although the break is frustrating for Limit’s raid leader, Maximum, it’s not an unfamiliar situation for the guild. In their previous Race to World First win in Ny’alotha, Limit faced numerous bugs and hotfixes that hindered their progression.

The Sludgefist Bug

Limit is currently dealing with a bug involving Sludgefist’s Chain Slam ability. The boss double casts the ability when raiders use immunities, resulting in multiple deaths. This bug has caused Limit to put their progress on hold.

Despite the setback, Limit is utilizing their time by clearing Heroic Castle Nathria and gearing up their characters while waiting for a potential hotfix. They are not wasting their efforts on a bugged boss but instead focusing on additional raids and weekly lockouts.

Limit’s approach is practical, as raid leader Maximum emphasized. “There’s no reason to be bashing your head into a bugged boss,” he said. “You might as well do other raids when there’s literally nothing you can do.”
