Complexity Limit Emerges Victorious in the Race to First Castle Nathria Clear in World of Warcraft

Complexity Limit Wins World of Warcraft’s Race to World First

Complexity Limit has emerged victorious in World of Warcraft’s Race to World First for the Castle Nathria raid, defeating Mythic Sire Denathrius after just over a week of intense competition.

Limit maintained a lead throughout the race, securing six World First boss kills, including the final three bosses: Sludgefist, Stone Legion Generals, and Sire Denathrius.

The victory came on the ninth day following the release of Mythic Castle Nathria, with Limit successfully defeating Denathrius on their 143rd attempt.

The main competition for Limit in Castle Nathria came from Echo, a new European guild composed of former Method raiders. Echo faced a delayed start due to server reset times, but quickly caught up once they began tackling Mythic bosses.

During the race, Limit encountered bugs that temporarily hindered their progress on bosses like Sludgefist and Stone Legion Generals. While they managed to find alternative ways to progress their characters, they faced difficulties with the Stone Legion Generals encounter.

Despite the challenges, Limit persevered and defeated the penultimate boss of the raid after 292 attempts. This number exceeded their previous record for defeating the final boss in the previous raid tier.

The final day of the race was the most intense yet, with both Limit and Echo making multiple attempts to bring down the boss. Echo came close, getting Denathrius to 4.25-percent health on their best attempt before ultimately being surpassed by Limit.

Complexity Limit’s victory in this Race to World First marks their second consecutive win. Previously, Method dominated the raiding scene before the Race to World First broadcasts gained popularity and helped guilds monetize WoW raiding as an esports event.
