Classic WoW is bringing Zul’Gurub next week

Zul’Gurub Arriving in World of Warcraft Classic on April 15

Zul’Gurub, a high-level raid instance in World of Warcraft Classic, will be released on Wednesday, April 15 at 5pm CT. This instance features 120 new rare and epic items for players to discover. While experienced players may already be familiar with the encounters and items from the Vanilla version, newcomers will face a challenge in this instance.

Blizzard’s Timely Release

Despite some complaints from active WoW Classic players regarding the timing of content releases, Blizzard has managed to release Zul’Gurub exactly 63 days after Blackwing Lair. This follows the same format as the original release in Vanilla WoW.

The Raid and Bosses

Zul’Gurub is guarded by five High Priests, with the ultimate boss being Hakkar. There are also four optional bosses that offer epic loot and other rewards.

Easier Than Molten Core

This raid is considered to be easier compared to Molten Core. If your guild faced challenges in clearing Molten Core, you may have a better chance at acquiring loot in Zul’Gurub.

During the release of Zul’Gurub in Vanilla WoW, Blizzard sought feedback from top performers regarding loot balancing and stat distribution on items.

Players who have already completed this raid on the Public Beta Environment managed to do so in under two hours with Blackwing Lair gear. Therefore, it should be easily farmable on a weekly basis for those who have already completed the previous content.

If you wish to reacquaint yourself with the Battleground before it is officially released on April 15, you can play the PTR version of Zul’Gurub now.
