Despite allegedly being banned on his alternate account “offmepordecurb,” Bruce went live on Twitch and had a regular broadcast, raising questions about potential discipline.
While Bruce managed to complete his stream without being taken down, his main channel was hit with a ban this morning, possibly for ban evasion from the alternate account.
Confusion Surrounds Bruce’s Ability to Stream Despite Suspension
According to Twitch’s rules against “ban evasion,” streamers are not allowed to go live on any of their channels if they are suspended on another account. However, Bruce was somehow able to carry out a normal broadcast yesterday, leaving many perplexed.
Post-ban, Bruce took to Twitter to share that his suspension is indefinite and for “telling the racist off.” He even included a screengrab of an email from Twitch confirming the ban for ban evasion, which reiterated that it is an indefinite ban. This is Bruce’s second ban on the platform.
Influx of Online Negativity and Frustrations
During his seven-and-a-half-hour stream, Bruce addressed the frustrations of receiving negative comments from online spectators following his departure from OTK. Specifically, he expressed frustration at comments suggesting that he himself is racist against white people after referencing his race as a factor in his departure.
