Blizzard Speeds up WoW’s Ny’alotha, the Waking City with Hotfixes before Mythic

The Arrival of N’Zoth Has Divided WoW Fans

The addition of the Old God N’Zoth in World of Warcraft has caused a split among fans. He is a dangerous creature with swinging tentacles, similar to Cthulhu. However, his role in Azeroth and his evil plotting have left much to be desired.

The Ny’alotha, the Waking City raid has been a disappointing finale to the expansion. Compared to final bosses like Kil’jaeden, The Lich King, or Argus the Unmaker, N’Zoth has proven to be easy to defeat.

To make matters worse, N’Zoth’s final cinematic is underwhelming, and the raid itself is riddled with bugs. It is far from what fans have come to expect from the game, leading to a disappointing end for some.

Fortunately, not all hope is lost. The Mythic version of the raid is set to release today at 9am CT. And to address the issues, Blizzard has stepped in. Here is the complete list of dungeon and raid hotfixes for World of Warcraft.

Ny’alotha, the Waking City

  • Fixed an issue where Protection Paladins’ Blessed Hammer (Talent) was not dealing damage to Wrathion, Drest’agath, and Il’gynoth.

Wrathion

  • Resolved a bug that prevented players from looting Wrathion if he was defeated during the transition.

Maut

  • Increased the amount of mana gained by Maut through Dark Offering on Normal difficulty.
  • Increased the mana gained by Maut through Devour Manifestation on Normal difficulty.

N’Zoth the Corruptor

  • Harvest Thoughts no longer includes player pets and guardians when dividing the damage and Sanity loss effect.
  • Expanded the distance at which melee characters can attack Exposed Synapses on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
