Asmongold Set to Return to Twitch Next Week
Gaming personality Asmongold is making his long-awaited comeback to Twitch in just one week.
In a recent Twitter video, Asmon confirmed his plans to start streaming regularly again on April 2, approximately between 9 to 10am CT. However, he humorously admitted that he might be a little late.
In a recent statement, Asmon expressed his excitement, saying, “I think it’s about time. I’ve been having conversations with myself in my car, and they’re usually in the same tone as I would have with my stream. So, I might as well do that on camera again.”
This is the first official announcement from Asmon regarding his return since he mentioned a couple of weeks ago that he would likely start streaming again. Although he initially stated that he wouldn’t wait more than three weeks, his first stream back will actually take place around five weeks following that statement.
While April 2 is the expected return date for Asmon, he mentioned that his plans might change if Blizzard begins alpha testing its new expansion before that day.
“If the Shadowlands alpha comes out earlier than April 2, I will go online earlier than April 2,” Asmongold explained. “I will go live the second, assuming I’m awake, that the Shadowlands alpha goes live.”
As for his first stream back, Asmon doesn’t have any elaborate plans. He wants it to be a typical stream, just like any other.
“I don’t plan on making this some big stream or big event or anything like that,” Asmongold stated. “Just another get together with the boys, another stream. Come over, come watch, come chill. The usual stuff.”
Knowing Asmon, though, his “usual stuff” is anything but ordinary.
