Asmongold supports Twitch’s high accuracy in banning streamers

Twitch’s Top World of Warcraft Streamer Supports Twitch’s Ban Decisions

Asmongold, the most-watched World of Warcraft content creator on Twitch, is known for sharing his opinions on how the platform handles its business. Surprisingly, he expressed support for Twitch’s decisions regarding discipline and bans for content creators.

During a recent discussion about streamer bans, Asmongold stated that he generally agrees with Twitch’s approach to disciplining content creators through bans.

“I understand this might be an unpopular opinion, but I do think Twitch is usually correct when it comes to bans,” he said. “I would say they are at least 90 percent right in their decisions. I’m not saying 100 percent, but 90 percent is pretty impressive.”

In the past month, several prominent content creators have faced bans on Twitch for various reasons. Just Chatting streamer Alinity received a 24-hour suspension for accidentally exposing herself to viewers during a stream. Recently, Forsen received a two-week ban for using an offensive phrase.

Although Asmongold himself hasn’t faced disciplinary actions from Twitch, StreamerBans.com confirms that he has not been banned by Twitch since last fall.

However, that doesn’t mean Asmongold has never experienced disciplinary action. Just last month, he had an issue with Blizzard banning him from World of Warcraft’s group finder for reasons he found confusing and disagreed with.
