Popular Streamer Enlists Fans’ Help to Unlock Rare Mount in WoW Classic
Well-known World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold has reached out to his fans for assistance in obtaining one of the most elusive mounts in World of Warcraft Classic.
Asmongold has informed his fans that he is accepting both Scarab Lord Fragments and gold for his character Asmon on the Faerlina realm.
However, some fans expressed their dissatisfaction with Asmongold’s request for assistance. They believe that the rare mount should only be earned by players who have dedicated a significant amount of time since the release of WoW Classic.
In order to unlock the prestigious Scarab Lord title and mount, players must complete a quest line called “Scepter of the Shifting Sands.” After finishing the final quest, “Bang a Gong,” the first player to complete the quest line will receive a Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal. Activating this crystal will transform it into the rare Scarab mount and grant the player the Scarab Lord title across the entire server. Once the first player has claimed these rewards, a timed event called the “Ten Hour War” will commence, allowing any player who completes the quest line to also collect the rewards within a 10-hour window.
The mount’s exclusivity is a result of the extensive time and effort required to gather all the necessary items and complete the quest line within the given time frame. As Asmongold calls upon his community for assistance, it is hoped that the collection of 42,000 Scarab Carapace Fragments will become more achievable for him.
