Asmongold announces his improved well-being and plans to resume streaming on Twitch shortly

Twitch Star Asmongold Addresses His Streaming Break and Plans to Return Soon

Popular Twitch streamer Asmongold has revealed the reason behind his recent streaming break and assured fans that he will be returning soon. In a tweet on July 25, Asmongold admitted that his life has been out of control for the past year but he is now taking steps to regain stability.

Reasons Behind the Break

Asmongold’s streaming hiatus, which began on July 16, initially sparked speculation among fans. Although he attributed the break to fixing his sleep schedule, it turns out there were other factors at play.

Dealing with Loss and Burnout

The past year has been challenging for Asmongold, including the tragic loss of his mother in October 2021, struggling with burnout, and facing backlash for streaming games less frequently. These personal and professional difficulties may have contributed to his need for a break.

A Fresh Start and Return Date

Fortunately, Asmongold has expressed that he is now on the path to recovery. He reassured his 3.3 million Twitch followers that he is not quitting or taking an extended break, and streams will resume as soon as possible. While he hasn’t confirmed a specific return date, it is expected to be sometime later this week.

Support from the Twitch Community

Asmongold’s tweet about his struggles received overwhelming support from his fans, with over 20,000 likes and numerous comments expressing sympathy. Fellow OTK members Mizkif and Rich Campbell also reached out to show their support. Despite the relatively short break, Asmongold’s absence has been deeply felt due to his significant presence on Twitch.

Exciting Plans for the Return

Although Asmongold hasn’t announced his exact streaming schedule, his tweets during the break suggest that he plans to dive into playing Final Fantasy XIV Online upon his return.
