Anomaly’s Twitch Ban for Displaying Offensive Minecraft Skin during Livestream

Popular YouTuber Receives Twitch Suspension for Offensive Minecraft Skin

Well-known YouTuber and streaming personality Ludvig “Anomaly” Lagerstedt has been given a 30-day suspension from Twitch due to the display of an offensive Minecraft skin.

While streaming Minecraft, the Swedish streamer accidentally revealed a cosmetic skin of Adolf Hitler.

Realizing his mistake immediately, Anomaly closed the menu and changed his skin, stating, “Oh my god, I have the wrong skin on. Let me change my skin really quick,” as he laughed.

In a later tweet, Anomaly explained that he had the skin for a planned Minecraft video with friends, intending to make a joke about ‘Meinkraft’, and forgot to switch back to his regular skin.

Anomaly is currently attempting to appeal the suspension, arguing that 30 days is too severe of a punishment for his offense. Twitch has not responded yet.

This is not the first time Anomaly has faced disciplinary actions due to offensive content. In the past, Twitch banned him for “hateful conduct.”

During a livestream of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Anomaly changed his avatar’s skin color and dressed him in a prison outfit, resulting in uncontrollable laughter.

According to Twitch’s Community Guidelines, any content or activity promoting discrimination, denigration, objectification, harassment, or violence based on various factors is strictly prohibited.

Anomaly gained popularity through viral YouTube videos and his involvement in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
