Amouranth and Indiefoxx regain access to Twitch following a three-day suspension

Amouranth and Indiefoxx Unbanned from Twitch After ASMR Meta Suspension

Popular Twitch streamers Amouranth and Indiefoxx have been unbanned from the platform after a three-day suspension. The suspension was a result of their involvement in the “ASMR meta,” a style of streaming where the creators would lick the microphone while facing away from the camera. Although the exact reason for the ban was not disclosed, it is likely that Twitch banned them for violating their sexually suggestive content policy.

Twitch Unbans Amouranth and Indiefoxx

The controversy surrounding Amouranth and Indiefoxx stems from their participation in the Twitch debate regarding the new category “Pools, Hot Tubs and Beaches.” This category allows streamers to wear beach attire while streaming from these locations. Both streamers gained significant popularity within this category, with Amouranth leading in hours watched, accumulating nearly 500,000 out of the total 1.4 million hours watched in the first four days.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time both streamers have faced a ban. Indiefoxx has been suspended five times this year, while Amouranth’s latest ban marks her fourth. Twitch has warned that repeated bans may result in permanent action against streamers, making this the final chance for both creators.
