Adin Ross’ Return to Twitch Seems Unlikely in the Near Future

Streamer Adin Ross Receives Ban from Twitch After Choosing Kick as His New Platform

Adin Ross, the popular streamer, recently faced a ban from Twitch shortly after making the decision to stream exclusively on the platform Kick. Although the ban had initially seemed permanent, it had not been confirmed by either party. Ross later revealed that the ban occurred during his Kick stream on February 26. However, prior to this revelation, he expressed frustration with Twitch and accused the Amazon-owned platform of targeting him and other streamers. He claimed that Twitch was biased and would not ban streamers involved in hot tub streams, insinuating that appearances played a role in the platform’s actions.

Conflicting Accounts of the Ban

Ross stated that he had already signed a contract with Kick, so the ban did not affect him. He believed that Twitch had a vendetta against him and other streamers. He further added that Twitch would not have permanently banned him if he had changed his appearance, referring to the controversy surrounding hot tub streamers who have evaded bans. However, the exact reason behind Ross’ ban remains unclear.

Permanently Banned with No Explanation

Ross later confirmed that his ban on Twitch was permanent, and he expressed confusion over the reasoning behind it. He claimed there was no valid explanation for the ban and that it made no sense. Twitch, on the other hand, stated that Ross had violated their Community Guidelines regarding unmoderated hateful conduct in chat, specifically racist and anti-Semitic messages.

Adin Ross Finds a New Home on Kick

Despite his disagreement with Twitch’s decision, Ross stated that he was relieved to have secured a partnership with Kick before the ban occurred. It remains to be seen how he will fare on the up-and-coming streaming platform.
