The Lineup for Summer Games Done Quick 2021

The Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2021 lineup is almost finalized. The event organizers have selected 164 games out of nearly 2,000 entries to feature from July 4 to 11.

About the SGDQ 2021 Lineup

A total of 164 games have been tentatively accepted as part of the main SGDQ 2021 lineup. Additionally, there are 52 backup options and six bonus games that will be included if certain donation incentives are met.

Highlights from the SGDQ Submissions

Although there’s no official schedule yet, SGDQ 2021 will offer approximately 163 hours of content based on the initial game list. Here are some of the exciting games featured in the submissions:

  • Bayonetta: New Game any percent
  • Batman: The Video Game: Sega Genesis and Nintendo Entertainment System runs
  • Untitled Goose Game: 100 percent co-op and other runs too
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: All Dungeons race
  • The Evil Within 2: Any percent New Game Plus
  • Super Metroid: 100 percent and 100 percent four-way race
  • Super Mario Odyssey: Talkatoo percent

Bonus Games and More

In addition to the main lineup, there are bonus games that could be included, such as Demon’s Souls 2020, Halo 2, Hitman 3, a Trackmania Nations Forever blindfold run, and more. To see the full list of accepted games, visit the official GDQ website.

COVID-19 Adaptations and Donation Information

Keeping in line with last year’s event, SGDQ 2021 will take place online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The live stream of the event can be found on GDQ’s official Twitch channel. In 2020, the event raised over $2.3 million for the charity Doctors Without Borders.
