Riot delays implementation of LoL's Vanguard anti-cheat integration due to major issues

Summoners eagerly awaiting the implementation of VALORANT’s Vanguard anti-cheat in League of Legends will have to wait a little longer. Riot Games announced today that the release has been rescheduled due to critical bugs with the client pop-up. The new update is now expected to be rolled out in Patch 14.3.

Diagnostic Check and Server Launch

In Patch 14.3, Riot Games will conduct a diagnostics check on players’ computers to ensure compatibility with the anti-cheat system. This check will determine if the system can support the Vanguard software. The official launch of Vanguard on all servers is now set for Patch 14.5, which has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 6.
