Riot brings major changes to jungle meta in League Patch 12.7: Lillia passive healing, Wukong E monster damage, Karthus Q damage, and more receive significant buffs

Upcoming Changes to League of Legends Patch 12.7

Riot Games is preparing various changes for Patch 12.7 in anticipation of the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational. These changes primarily focus on the jungle, with some significant buffs for certain champions.

Lillia will receive a major increase in the healing provided by her passive ability, Dream-Laden Bough. The healing ratio is being raised from 12% AP to 20% AP. Additionally, her W ability will have a 10-point increase in magic damage across all levels. These changes aim to enhance her sustainability during early game clears and potentially make her more viable in professional play.

Wukong is also slated to receive several buffs that could strengthen his position in the jungle. His Q ability will have its cooldown reduced by 2 seconds at all levels, and his W ability will now allow him to go over walls. Furthermore, his E ability, Nimbus Strike, will deal an extra 30% damage to monsters, and its AP ratio will increase by 20%. These improvements should significantly enhance Wukong’s clear speed and make his ganks more effective, as he can quickly dash over walls while remaining invisible.

Karthus will see a 10% increase in Q damage to monsters, which will reduce the amount of mana required to clear camps.

Another notable buff is coming to Kalista in the bottom lane. She will receive increases to her base mana, base movement speed, and attack speed. While she may not surpass popular AD carry picks like Aphelios, Jinx, Caitlyn, and Zeri, she could become a viable choice when those champions are not available.

League of Legends Patch 12.7 is scheduled for release on Wednesday, April 13.
