Kindred Funds Groundbreaking Gambling Education Sessions for Rangers FC in Scotland

Kindred, in collaboration with Rangers FC in Scotland, will be funding independent gambling education sessions for players and staff. These sessions will be led by EPIC Risk Management, a safer gambling consultancy that works with clubs, leagues, and federations around the world.

Marking 10 Years of Collaboration

Kindred Group plc (Kindred) is celebrating 10 years of collaboration with Rangers FC this year. As part of this collaboration, Kindred has dedicated its front-of-shirt sponsorship to the “Zero % Mission.” This mission aligns with the Group’s ambition of generating zero percent revenue from harmful gambling. It also aims to establish a better model of sponsorship that benefits sporting organizations and their communities.

An Unprecedented Cooperation in Scottish Football

This cooperation between Rangers FC and EPIC is the first of its kind in Scottish football. EPIC will provide independent gambling guidance to the club’s employees. The education sessions will be tailored to individual needs and include insights from former football players who have experienced gambling-related issues, including those who have played at the international level.
