AvatarUX introduces new cascading mechanic in GemPops

GemPops: AvatarUX Introduces New Cascading Mechanic

Award-winning slots studio AvatarUX has launched a new mechanic in its latest game, GemPops. This innovative title features a variable reel height, ranging from three to seven positions, and each reel has its own multiplier that increases with every symbol win. When the multiplier reaches its maximum height, it is awarded during base play.

The game introduces the Popscade mechanic, where winning symbols disappear and fresh ones cascade down from the heightened reel. This differs from the iconic PopWins mechanic associated with AvatarUX, where symbols “pop” into empty cells.

Triggering the free spins mode requires three or more diamond bonus symbols. Players can also use the Gamble Wheel in this mode to earn more spins and a higher starting multiplier. Xpops can be randomly triggered during the bonus, causing symbols to pop by a random amount of up to four times. Additionally, special bombs can unlock up to three more spins.

If a reel reaches its full height in the free spins mode, its multiplier is transferred to the total multiplier amount, increasing win potential. GemPops also offers a Buy Bonus and Ante Bet option in some jurisdictions, enhancing player engagement. Initially, the game is exclusively available to AvatarUX’s partners with direct integrations and will be globally released later.

Nicola Longmuir, CEO of AvatarUX, expressed excitement about the release of GemPops, highlighting the game’s innovative mechanics that provide extended spins and expanded paylines in every spin. The studio is committed to creating engaging and forward-looking games, and GemPops is yet another example of their progress in the slot industry.
