New Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go keeps adding new Mega Pokémon with its latest events. Players have many options for Mega forms, but they all want one powerful Pokémon to get its ultimate form.
Rayquaza: A Fan Favorite
Rayquaza stands out in Pokémon Go. Its shiny form looks cool and ranks as one of the top shinies in the series. Also, Rayquaza shines in raids, making it a desired catch. Yet, it hasn’t turned into its Mega form for players to use in raids.
Is Mega Rayquaza Available Now?
As of now, Pokémon Go does not have Mega Rayquaza. There is an event featuring Rayquaza in five-star raids. However, Mega Rayquaza is not part of it.
New Attack but No Mega Form Yet
The Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza will get a new charged attack called Breaking Swipe. But, there are no plans announced for its Mega form. During events, Mega Pokémon usually appear. So, when the Primal Rumblings event was announced, players hoped to see Mega Rayquaza. Unfortunately, it will only appear as a Raid Pokémon, with a chance to catch it in its Shiny form.
Players wanting Mega Rayquaza may have to wait longer. No signs show it transforming into its Mega form anytime soon.
