When is the Release Date for Pokémon TCG Live?

The New Era of Pokémon TCG

Pokémon TCG Live is changing the game from the older Pokémon Trading Card Game Online we first saw in May 2012. The Pokémon Company is finally launching TCG Live for everyone after a long beta phase.

What’s New with TCG Live

TCG Live arrives as the new face of Pokémon’s card game online. It’s free for all on PC and mobile. Gamers will enjoy more updates, better visuals, and new ways to earn rewards. You can even move your PTCGO collection to the new game. But remember, TCG Live will focus on the latest content, leaving some old stuff behind.

Goodbye Pokémon TCG Online

When TCG Live drops, Pokémon TCG Online will close down. This lets developers put all their effort into the new platform.

Mark Your Calendars

After a successful beta in select countries, Pokémon TCG Live goes global on June 8. This matches the release of the Pokémon TCG: Paldea Evolved set. This launch means the game is available on PC and mobile at 12 pm CT.

Also, June 8 is when Pokémon TCG Online says goodbye. This means the servers turn off and the old game isn’t playable anymore.

If you played PTCGO and want your stuff in TCG Live, move it before the global beta ends. If not, you can’t transfer your content later.
