What’s the Difference Between Dozing, Slumbering, and Snoozing in Pokémon Sleep?

Pokémon Sleep Launches

Pokémon Sleep is out now! It wants to sort us into three sleep types. If we snore or talk in our sleep, it thinks we’re odd.

However, each sleep type is crucial for the game. The types – Dozing, Slumbering, and Snoozing – unlock various game mechanics. For instance, only in Dozing can you find Bulbasaur, in Snoozing, Charmander, and in Slumbering, Squirtle. To fill the Sleep Dex and Pokédex, you must know about these types.

Understanding Sleep Types

Here’s how each sleep type works and how you can get the one you want. Whether you’re actually sleeping or tricking the game, we got you covered.

Get the Dozing Pattern

The Dozing pattern needs three things from you. If you talk, move a lot, or make noise while asleep, you’re in. Snoring doesn’t count here. To get Dozing Pokémon without sleeping, place your device in a noisy area but not too loud.

Find Slumbering Pokémon

Slumbering happens when you sleep all night quietly. If you make little to no noise, you fit this type. But, if you can’t sleep this quietly, try this – place your phone face down or in another room. It makes the app think you are having a quiet sleep.

Nabbing Snoozing Pokémon

Snoozing is common because it’s about snoring, small moves, or making sounds. This type suits many people. If you haven’t got it yet, try placing your phone in a slightly noisy spot. An office, with the sound of typing, might just work. Avoid too much talk or movement around it.

Pokémon Sleep makes us dive into our sleep habits in a fun and engaging way. By understanding each type, we can master the game and complete our collections.
