Upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Patch Addresses One of the Game’s Major Bugs

The latest update for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is here. It fixes many bugs, including one that affected Tera Raids.

New Fixes in the Game

Game Freak introduced Iron Leaves and Walking Wake for a special Tera Raid event on Pokémon Day. Many fans jumped into action to catch these new Paradox Pokémon. But, some players hadn’t updated their game. They ended up facing a big problem.

Players on older game versions could catch these new Pokémon. But, they got a Bad Egg in their inventory instead. This Bad Egg blocked them from ever getting the Paradox Pokémon. It took up the one catch spot for the raid, and you couldn’t remove it.

Big Patch Solutions

With the new Scarlet and Violet Ver. 1.3.0 patch, there’s good news. If you got a Bad Egg, you can now catch Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. The Tera Raid event is back too. This gives players affected by the bug a second chance.

The update also fixed another issue. Before, the game would crash if you tried to connect it to your Pokémon Go account. This bug sometimes erased player’s save files on their Nintendo Switch. Luckily, Nintendo is helping those who lost their saves get them back.

What Else Has Changed?

If you’re looking for game performance improvements, this update might not have much. It mainly targets smaller bugs. For example, it fixes a glitch with Zoroark’s Illusion ability. This glitch happened when Terastallized and didn’t work as it should.

Final Thoughts

This patch is a big step in fixing some of the game’s most talked-about problems. Players can now enjoy Tera Raids without worrying about the Bad Egg issue. Plus, the connection between Pokémon Go and Scarlet and Violet is smoother. Although this update focuses on bug fixes, it’s essential for a better gaming experience. Let’s hope for more improvements and features in future updates.
