Top Ranked Ice-Type Pokémon of All Time

Why Ice-Types Rock in Pokémon

From the very start, Ice-types have rocked the Pokémon world. They may have a few weaknesses, like Fire and Fighting, but Ice-types crush Dragon-types. This was a big deal for almost 15 years until Fairy-types showed up.

Even though we see snow in many Pokémon regions, there aren’t many Ice-types. But, the ones we do have are pretty cool. Players love them for their looks, power, and the nostalgia they bring.

Every new Pokémon game brings us more Ice-types. We’ve looked across all nine generations to find the top ten Ice-types. We’ll keep this list fresh over time.
