Why Ash-Greninja Is Special
Only Greninjas with the Battle Bond skill can become Ash-Greninja. This happens in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. No other Pokémon can get this skill. The Sun and Moon demo is the only place to get a Greninja like this. It’s a rare chance to keep seeing Ash-Greninja in action.
Changes in New Games
Even though you can move this Greninja to Pokémon HOME and newer games like Scarlet and Violet, it’s different now. The Battle Bond skill doesn’t turn Greninja into Ash-Greninja anymore. Instead, it boosts the Pokémon’s Attack, Special Attack, and Speed in a fight, just once.

Ash-Greninja can only show its true power in the Alola region games now. You need to download the Sun and Moon demo before March 27 if you want it. After that, getting Ash-Greninja will be impossible.
