Scarlet and Violet Pokémon to Debut in Pokémon Go Ahead of Schedule

New Pokémon from Generation Nine are hitting Pokémon Go this September, earlier than fans anticipated. They’re bringing popular characters from Scarlet and Violet to the mix. The spotlight shines on Paldea’s starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, as they join the game.

Nintendo shared this exciting news on Aug. 8 during its Pokémon Presents. Although they didn’t give an exact date, the current Pokémon Go season ends on Aug. 31. So, we expect these new Pokémon to arrive on Sept. 1 or shortly after. However, Nintendo has yet to confirm this.

So far, we haven’t seen any in-game models or images of their evolved forms for these new starters. This keeps the excitement high as fans await their arrival in the game.

First Paldea Pokémon

Although Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Fuecoco are the first ninth-generation starters in Pokémon Go, they’re not the first Pokémon from Paldea to enter the game. That title goes to Roaming Form Gimmighoul and its evolution, Gholdengo. Fans had been eagerly waiting since February 2023 to add them to their collections.

More Pokémon To Come

Getting the entire Pokédex from Scarlet and Violet into Pokémon Go might take a while. Many Pokémon from earlier generations haven’t made their debut in the game yet. But there’s more good news! We’re also looking forward to the arrival of Passimian in Pokémon Go.

This new season promises to add even more excitement to the already popular game. As fans eagerly await the debut of Generation Nine Pokémon, the future of Pokémon Go looks bright. With so many beloved characters yet to join the game, the anticipation continues to build.
