Raging Bolt is the Paradox version of the Legendary Raikou from Johto, joining Suicine’s Paradox version, Walking Wake, in Scarlet and Violet. With Raikou and Suicine covered, fans expect Entei will get a Paradox form in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.
Fans already guess what Paradox Entei might look like, thanks to Raging Bolt and Walking Wake. Their designs pull in ideas of Johto Starters and dinosaurs.
Spot the Similarities
A Reddit user posted a picture of Raging Bolt, Walking Wake, and the Johto Starters—Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr. Do they look alike?
Raging Bolt’s long neck reminds fans of Alolan Exeggutor and Farigiraf, but it also looks like Meganium, a Gen II Grass Starter. Both Meganium and Raging Bolt resemble sauropod dinosaurs and sport a “collar” around their necks. Meganium has a pink flower, while Raging Bolt boasts a fluffy purple mane. This might not be a mere coincidence.
Similarly, Walking Wake shares features with Feraligatr. Both are Water types and walk on two legs, sporting reddish spikes and a hunched posture. Walking Wake, though, mimics the shape of a theropod dinosaur.
Typhlosion and Entei’s Connection
What about Typhlosion and the potential Paradox Entei? Typhlosion is known for the flame on its neck. This detail will likely show up in Entei’s Paradox design. Fans also hint at a triceratops look for Paradox Entei, drawing parallels to Typhlosion’s flame, as triceratops have a similar frill.
