Scarlet and Violet HOME Update Enables Pokémon Fans to Complete Pokédex Milestone

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Pokémon HOME to link up with Scarlet and Violet. At last, the hardest-core Pokémon enthusiasts are now filling up the National Pokédex.

Catching Them All

You must “Catch ’em All” to complete the National Pokédex. With over 1,010 Pokémon available, this seems like a huge challenge. Yet, some players accepted this challenge head-on. Many have started completing the dex just days after HOME’s big update.

Pokémon HOME’s National Pokédex counts Pokémon from all games. This includes Pokémon Go, Legends: Arceus, and other mainline games. If you’ve been catching Pokémon and moving them to HOME for years, you have a head start. New players with only Scarlet and Violet have more work ahead.

A Special Reward

Players who complete the National Pokédex earn a unique “Original Color” Magearna. This special Magearna mimics the classic Poké Ball colors, adding a touch of gold. Its unique design beats the standard silver Magearna, capturing the attention and envy of many players.

Community Envy and Help

Several players are jealous of those who’ve completed the dex. Some are even trading rare Pokémon to help others achieve this great feat. As more players finish their National Pokédex, we’ll see more Original Color Magearna around. This is a positive sign that fans love the challenge of catching them all.

The passion and commitment of the Pokémon community shine as players tackle the massive task of filling the National Pokédex. With every Pokémon caught and traded, players come one step closer to completing their collection, proving the enduring allure and excitement of the Pokémon franchise.
