Pokémon GO Fest Announcement

Legendary Pokémon from all over are back as five-star raid bosses this August. Regidrago rules until August 4. Then, Cresselia steps in from August 4 to 16. Xerneas and Yveltal, from the Kalos region, are back too. They’ll be in five-star Raids from August 16 to 23 and August 27 to September 1. They’ll know their special moves: Geomancy and Oblivion Wing.

Mega Evolutions are also in the spotlight. Players can fight and earn Mega energy. Mega Tyranitar is here until August 4. Then, it’s Mega Gyarados’ turn from August 4 to 16. Mega Salamence shines from August 16 to 23 and August 27 to September 1.

The Pokémon Go Fest: Global event on August 26 and 27 will dazzle us. Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, and Mega Rayquaza are joining. Can’t join the raids those days? No worries. Special Raid hours for Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon are set for August 23 and 24.

Niantic also spilled the beans on a special event. It’s happening with the 2023 Pokémon World Championships from August 11 to 15. There’s a Community Day smack in the middle on August 13. Also, get ready for the “Noxious Swamp” event from August 19 to 22. It’ll likely showcase various Poison-type Pokémon.

A tweet reveals Mega Diancie’s debut in Pokémon Go. This will be alongside Diancie during the Pokémon Go Fest: Global.

This month, reaching a research breakthrough promises rare Pokémon. Complete a field research task daily for a week. Rewards? Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Goomy, or Noibat. Also, spotlight hours are back. Every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time, enjoy a bonus. Look out for rotating Pokémon: Vulpix, Paras, Stufful, Venonat, and Tentacool.

All these events lead to the Pokémon Go Fest: Global on August 26 and 27. Players can discover hidden gems, even the elusive Mega Diancie. The event offers bonuses and spawns for all. Most perks need a $15 pass from the in-game store.
