Since the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus in 2022, fans have been busy linking Hisuian characters to modern Pokémon universe personalities. Recently, the Scarlet and Violet DLC dropped a surprise link.
Fresh Reveals in New DLC
A new look at The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC came our way during the latest Pokémon Presents. It showed off new Pokémon, like the cute Dipplin and strange Raging Bolt. We also met new faces, like Perrin.
Perrin is a traveler who loves taking pictures. In Part 1: The Teal Mask, she looks for a special Pokémon in Kitakami. She brings players fun photo-taking missions along their travels.
Fans soon saw a connection between Perrin and Adaman from Legends: Arceus. They talked about this link in an Aug. 8 Reddit post.
Linking Past and Present
It’s clear that many characters from Legends: Arceus look a lot like characters from earlier games. For instance, Kamado looks just like Sinnoh’s Professor Rowan. And there’s no denying the resemblance between Cyllene and Team Galactic’s Cyrus.
However, Adaman’s relatives were a mystery until Perrin showed up. Her hair and eyes strongly suggest she is one of Adaman’s descendants.
A Reddit comment highlights Perrin’s passion for photography. It connects her to Adaman, who valued time. Adaman led the Diamond Clan, worshipping the Legendary Dialga, the time controller. So, a descendant loving photography, which freezes moments, fits perfectly.
More Characters to Discover
We now know Perrin’s connection to Adaman. Yet, the Pearl counterpart, Irida’s links, stay unresolved. Maybe the DLC will introduce someone who knows Perrin, offering more clues. Otherwise, we might wait a bit longer.
