Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Version 1.3.0 Update: Detailed Patch Notes and Changes

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company just released a big update for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They shared a complete list of all the changes.

The new patch fixes a weird bug where trainers caught an Egg, not the Pokémon Walking Wake and Iron Leaves in their Tera Raid Battles. Now, with the update and a special event, trainers can catch these Pokémon again.

The update also changes how long you can sign up for Friendly Competitions. Before, you could only sign up before they started. Now, you can sign up until they end.

Lots of bugs got squashed in this update. Problems with link battles, standard battles, connecting with Pokémon Go, and a few others got fixed.

Support for Earlier Bugs

If trainers caught an Egg instead of the Pokémon Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in a Tera Raid Battle, they were stuck. This update fixes that so you can now catch the right Pokémon. Plus, there’s a rerun of Tera Raid Battle events for these Pokémon happening with this update. Check out this page for more details.

Feature Changes

The update changes how you enter Friendly Competitions. Now, you can enter anytime until the competition ends. This is different from before, where you had to enter before it started.

Bug Fixes in Details

This update tackled several bugs:
– In link battles, swapping Pokémon at the last second could mess up the battle. That’s fixed.
– When a battle’s timer was almost up, it didn’t always show right. Now it does.
– If a Pokémon fainted from a certain move, trainers had less time to choose their next Pokémon. This got fixed too.

Battles, Connection Issues, and More

– The game wrongly let the Cud Chew Ability happen more often than it should. Not anymore.
– Zoroark’s disguise caused confusion in battles. This update clears that up.
– Double Battles had issues with how stat changes worked. That’s been corrected.
– Connecting with Pokémon Go won’t crash the game now.

Plus, if trainers got a Hisuian Zoroark as a gift and hadn’t seen Zoroark yet, it messed up their Pokédex. This and other small bugs are now fixed.

This update makes playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet smoother and brings back some catchable Pokémon. Make sure to check it out!
