Pokémon GO’s Next Season is Named “The Season of Heritage”
Pokémon GO has announced that the upcoming season in its gameplay will be called “The Season of Heritage.” The season will commence on March 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time and will continue until June 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
During “The Season of Heritage,” trainers will be able to embark on various exciting adventures. The season focuses on Pokémon that are deeply tied to different regions and the lore behind them. Trainers will have the opportunity to discover and catch Pokémon that showcase the heritage and legends of various locations.
This season will also introduce exclusive Pokémon and exciting bonuses for trainers to enjoy. Trainers can expect to encounter unique spawns related to the heritage theme during special events and throughout the season. Additionally, select Mega-Evolved Pokémon will have increased appearances in Raids, providing trainers with a chance to battle and capture these powerful creatures.
The season’s debut event, “Searching for Legends,” will take place from March 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to March 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. During this event, trainers can explore the wild and seek mythical Pokémon like Shiny Mew, who will be making its debut in Pokémon GO. Various other notable Pokémon will also be featured, such as Red or Blue Basculin, Chespin, and Fennekin.
To enhance the Pokémon GO experience, there will be time-limited Special Research available for trainers to complete. This Special Research will allow trainers to delve deeper into the lore and history of the Pokémon world.
