Pokémon Go’s Latest Event Struggles to Overcome Boycott Efforts

The Pokémon Go game is set to launch a new event, “A Mystic Hero”. But, many players are upset. They’ve started a boycott because of recent game changes. The event drama brought more eyes to these issues.

On Twitter, people hit back at the event news with #HearUsNiantic. They shared a wish list for the game with this hashtag.

The event will run from April 13 to April 17. It’s all about Blanche, the Team Mystic leader. There’s a special mission named “A Mystic Hero”. It could lead you to a special Lapras with a Blanche look. Plus, this Lapras could be shiny! Players will also get extra XP for evolving Pokémon, double Candy XL for evolutions, and lures that last three hours.

New Field Research tasks are out too. They’ll give Stardust and items for evolving Pokémon. Plus, there’s Timed Research that awards a Magnetic Lure.

However, these perks don’t cut it for many fans. Changes like shorter Community Days and limits on Remote Raid Passes have made players mad. No shiny Pokémon is making them feel better about these updates.
