Pokémon Go to Launch New Season Featuring Treasure-Hunt Research Day Event

Lucky Pokémon Go players might find some treasure in an exciting event soon. Niantic is launching a new adventure called “Hidden Gems.” It’s all happening on a special Research Day named “Searching for Gold.” This event will run on June 3, from 2pm to 5pm local time. Players can only enjoy the bonuses during these three hours.

Finding Golden Pokémon

During this event, Pokémon with gold-colored Shiny versions will show up more. Look out for Weedle, Bellsprout, Lickitung, Azumarill, and others. Also, there’s new Field Research. It will give you a chance to meet Caterpie, Magikarp, Nosepass, and more with higher Shiny odds. Plus, for $1, you can get Timed Research in the game. It covers the same Pokémon you see in the Field Research.

Golden PokéStops and Gimmighoul Coins

You might see Gold PokéStops on your map, even without a Coin Bag. Spinning these stops gives you Gimmighoul Coins. These coins let you evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo. But remember, Roaming Form Gimmighoul won’t show up at these event-created Gold PokéStops. They only appear at PokéStops made by players.

This amazing chance to grab increased spawns and bonuses is a must. But, it’s only around from 2pm to 5pm local time on June 3. After the event, these Pokémon will still be out there. But, their Shiny rates go back to normal.

What Comes Next?

A few days after this gold hunt, Niantic is getting us ready for summer. They’re rolling out the Water Festival: Beach Week event. This event invites you to meet Pokémon from the sands and seas. And yes, there will be some new bad guys to catch.

Don’t Miss Out!

So, gear up for “Searching for Gold.” This three-hour hunt is your ticket to finding gold in Pokémon Go. Keep your eyes peeled for those special PokéStops. Remember, it’s happening on June 3, from 2pm to 5pm. After the wild gold rush, stay tuned. The Water Festival: Beach Week is next, bringing aquatic adventures and new foes. Get ready to dive into summer with Pokémon Go.
